Cod Au Gratin

2 lbs. cod fillets
3 T. butter
6 T. flour
2 C. milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat grill to 350°. Spray a 8 X 12 inch pan.  Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.  Add cod fillets and cook for 4 minutes. Drain.

Melt butter in medium saucepan. Mix in flour and milk, cook over medium heat until thickened. Add salt and pepper. Flake fillets into baking dish, alternating layers with sauce. Sprinkle top with shredded cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is browned.  Great if served with grilled vegetables.
